The Salem Pantry provides access to fresh, healthy food for all. Visit their pantry location The Market or Pop-up pantries throughout Salem for locally grown produce, dairy, eggs, milk, bread, and protein choices, all of which are completely free.

Citizens Inn Haven From Hunger

Haven from Hunger’s core hunger-relief programs are their food pantry and community meals program. The food pantry provides households from Peabody, Salem, and Lynnfield with fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy, and non-perishable goods. The community meals program offers guests a filling, nutritious supper in a friendly atmosphere at no cost.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army’s approach to feeding the hungry is based on the local needs of each community they serve. Salvation Army food pantries provide groceries for families and individuals in need.

Food For The World

Food For The World Inc. is a grassroots community organization based in Lawrence, Massachusetts that operates a bimonthly food pantry in Salem at the Salem Free Methodist Church at 8 North Street.

Lifebridge

Lifebridge’s community meals program is open to all who are hungry, offering nutritious breakfast, lunch, and dinner on-site 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With a focus on nutrition, the kitchen staff and volunteers incorporate freshly-harvested produce into meals from their Seeds of Hope Garden.

My Brother’s Table

My Brother’s Table has been able to provide meals and a wide range of other services to those in need in our community through the support of donors and over 1,500 volunteers each year. Meals are served 7 days a week. No Eligibility Screening.  All Welcome. 98 Willow Street, Lynn, MA. (781) 595-3224

Hot, nutritious lunches for individuals 60 years or older, or 55 or older with a disability. 401 Bridge St., Salem, MA. Reservations are required: eblumberg@salem.com or call 978-744-0924. Transportation available.

All Salem Public School and SACS students receive free breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri during the school year. Salem High School and Collins Middle School also offer dinner for students in after school programs. Encourage your child to participate!

Women Infants Children (WIC), Salem

WIC safeguards the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, and information on healthy eating including breastfeeding promotion and support, in addition to referrals to health care.

A global nonprofit that connects neighbors through homemade meal delivery. We also seek to eliminate stigmas associated with asking for help. Our mission is to feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities. We connect volunteer lasagna chefs with individuals and families in need. Whether someone is facing financial challenges, emotional overwhelm, medical issues, or any other hardship, Lasagna Love strives to provide relief, hope, and connection through the simple gesture of a warm meal.
